Who Headlines Y2K Fest?

One hit song, four small-town musicians, and a whole lot of 1960s nostalgia! Does That Thing You Do! (1996) still rock 30 years later? Jackie and Danielle are revisiting Tom Hanks' directorial debut, starring Tom Everett Scott, Liv Tyler, Steve Zahn, and Ethan Embry. Joining them for his seventh appearance is longtime friend Nick, who's back to help decide whether this beloved '90s musical comedy still deserves a spot in our VHS collections.

From The Wonders' overnight success to the questionable decisions that nearly derail their fame, the trio digs into the music, memorable performances, and surprising character dynamics. Is Jimmy really the villain, or is the record industry the bigger problem? Was Mr. White helping the band or exploiting them? And why does Steve Zahn steal practically every scene? Plus, they're talking about Tom Hanks' casting decisions, the actors learning their instruments, Guy and Faye's romance, the mysteriously nameless bass player, and one very confusing Spartacus reference.

With plenty of laughs, behind-the-scenes trivia, and a fresh perspective on this 1996 favorite, Jackie, Danielle, and Nick put their nostalgia to the test. Will That Thing You Do! earn a coveted "Would Buy It Again" in Ratings Rewind, or has time changed their tune?

[00:00:30] Musik Festival Lineup Never to Exist. So grab your backstage pass, turn up the volume, and let's find out who gets top billing. No More Late Fees Podcast. I'm Jackie.

[00:00:55] And I'm Danielle, and we're just two best friends and ex-blockbuster employees re-watching some of the best and worst movies from the late 90s and early 2000s. Forget being a one-hit wonder. Our guest has made it all the way to appearance number seven. He's a longtime friend, one of our favorite people to give a hard time to, and apparently a glut for punishment because he keeps coming back. Welcome back, Nick. Hello.

[00:01:21] Hey. Always good to be here. It's a pleasure, as always. And I think we're getting into a rhythm now where when I come back, I'm kind of in my wheelhouse a little bit so I can hold my own a little stronger. You're giving me a little something to hold on to, and I very much appreciate that. So what's been going on? What's up?

[00:01:44] Oh, what's up? Oh, man. You know, life, two kids, college professor. I'm writing textbooks, which is weird. Wow. Yeah, I know. I know. It's weird. It's, yeah. So, but it was funny, like, watching this movie last night and thinking about how, like, oh, yeah, especially the first, we'll get into it, but the first part of the movie, when they're kind of a local opening band, I was like, oh, this resonates and feels familiar.

[00:02:09] And then I, like, woke up the next morning, and I was like, oh, I gotta pack lunches for my children to get them off to school. And I'm like, this is not, I'm not, I'm not a neonaters. That's not me anymore. I did have the thought of, like, did this movie resonate with you so much as a youth because you were in a local band and you were like, it was the dream to be, like, signed by Drive Thru Records and, like, be on the big stage and stuff. I'm like, I wonder if that was part of it.

[00:02:39] Yeah, yeah. I met, I met a nice man and a really nice camper that wanted to put our song on the radio. Like, I had that experience. Did he make this do? He did. Our song was on the radio. We got on local air. Like, yeah, we can talk about it when that time comes. But we never got to the state fair tour kind of level. Not quite. So there was a part where the Wonders story kind of diverged from mine. But a lot of that stuff resonated. I like it. Yeah.

[00:03:07] Well, we've been doing, what are we watching? So anything you currently are watching on TV or movies you've seen? Anything that, like, sparked joy? Or maybe hate? Right. So, as usual, I think every time we ask this, I'm like, I, I, weirdly, I'm on a kind of a pop culture sort of podcast.

[00:03:32] I don't watch anything. I, but I know this is, this is off topic and so we won't go into it. The thing that has taken over my entire life is Dungeon Crawler Carl. Yes. I don't know who it is and I don't know if I don't want to know. It's, it's a series of books. I read all eight books in about four to six months. Wow. And I, yeah, I listened to the hell. It's, it is, it's become me and my wife's, like, entire personality for the last, like, six months or so.

[00:04:01] And it is delightful and joyous and I love it. So I'm not watching anything, but it will be, it's, it's in production to be a series on Peacock. So when you see the Dungeon Crawler Carl show on Peacock, tune in. I'll thank you. Yes. We were told about it during the segment on the podcast with our friend, Ron, ADHD, Ron. Oh yeah.

[00:04:26] And so I had downloaded it thinking like, okay, if someone with ADHD is recommending downloading an audio book, maybe Ken will like it. Right. Who knows? So I downloaded the first book and then after that, like Nick had mentioned that he loved it. Our friend Andrew, who's been on the pod had mentioned he listens to it and loves it. So driving home on one of our road trips, I was like, oh, there's this audio book people keep recommending. Let's listen to it.

[00:04:54] And like, like, we're going to go to the next episode. And I'm like, no, like, we're going to go to the next episode. Like, we don't want to, usually when we drive to or from Florida, we drive straight through. So someone's sleeping while someone's driving. We didn't want to sleep. We're like, no, like things are happening. So Ken and I are currently in the middle of book four, hoping by the time we get to Nick, because we are driving to California next week, we'll probably be close to the end of book five.

[00:05:23] And so I'm sure there will be many discussions. Ken has like questions that I, my brain just doesn't work the same way. And so he's like talking about like the physics of the train track. What did the, what did I call it? The iron. The iron tangle. Yes. And I'm like, I'm here for vibes. I'm here for character development. I'm not thinking about how this actually functions. So you're going to have to find other people that care as much as you do.

[00:05:54] Well, I can't, I can't wait to see Ken though. That's going to be, that's going to be exciting. We're going to have some fun. And also, yeah, the audio book performance. Yes. Is outstanding. It is outstanding. The audio book performance of these books. It's like. Like the only thing I can think of like equating it to is like listening to Orson Welles, War of the Worlds on radio. Where it's so captivating and so well done. That you're just sucked in. You're like. Yeah. In the performance.

[00:06:24] Yeah. So much so that the only casting that has been decided for the television show. Is the audio book narrator. Is going to be one of the main characters. That's like. It's going to, it's going to end up being an animated character. And the audio book narrator is going to be that character. He has no acting experience, but he's already locked the role of this character because the narration performance is so good. Yeah. That's cool. So yeah. Dungeon Crawler Carl. Get on it.

[00:06:50] And so both of you and Jackie, that's what you guys are watching, listening to right now. Yeah. I'm also Ted Lasso season four. Oh, I got to pick Ted Lasso up again. So we are very much in it. And Ken last night was like, oh, we have one more episode. I was like, oh, I reread that wrong. We have to wait a week. And so much sadness. So. Yeah. I'm not. I'm trying to think adults still watching that.

[00:07:19] And I think I'm going to watch. I think it's called furious. Yes. I mean, you're awesome. Yes. I'm going to watch that. All right. Let's get into this game. Okay. So our game this week is called real big hits music festival. We have our list of performers and we have different categories that we kind of have to put them into.

[00:07:44] So our list of performers are the wonders from that thing you do. Powerline from a goofy movie. DuJour from Josie and the Pussycats. Don't come at me. I didn't put Josie and the Pussycats on this list because I thought DuJour would be a more fun category to fill. Stillwater from Almost Famous. Pink Slip from Freaky Friday. School of Rock from School of Rock. Soggy Bottom Boys. Oh, Brother Where Art Thou. Rex Manning. Empire Records. Protozoa from Xenon.

[00:08:15] Bee Rabbit from 8 Mile. And Cheetah Girls from Cheetah Girls. So we're going to go category by category. And you can't repeat. Everyone has to fall in their own category. And we're going to sort out who we're seeing, who we're skipping, all of the details. Actually, I have had all of these thoughts while at Austin City Limits. So let me know when y'all are ready. And we...

[00:08:44] So I've been giving this some thought. Can I jump in with number one and kind of put a band into the number one slot? Yes. Must see the headliners. And we can have the same for the categories. You just can't repeat any artists in your personal list. Let's finish our entire list. Oh. Let's finish our list and then so we can knock them out. I thought we were collaborating on this. Like, we're all going to pick our... No, we'll have our own. You want each of us individually to do this? Yes. Yes.

[00:09:10] Because we're going to have a lot of, I think, mixed feelings. That's going to be hard for me because I don't know all of these bands. That's okay. So I was just going to follow you. Like, if you want to go to the bathroom, I'll just go for a walk with you. That sounds great. And some of these might be that too. Oh. Duh. What was I talking about?

[00:09:40] All right. I think I've done all I can. Okay. With the ones I'm familiar with. Everyone else, you're just going to the bathroom or getting snacks for. Yeah. Yeah. Or, like, you know, if you want to go to the front, I'll follow you. You know. Well, okay. I'll go with you. But... Or a lot of times while I'm at the festival, I hold down the fort in the shade with the chairs and the blanket. Like, you guys go and watch whoever. Whatever. I'm just going to sit here and kind of listen to whoever's on this main stage that I happen

[00:10:09] to be near. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Also, my apologies. I'm a terrible public speaker. I'm doing the thing that I tell my students to never do, and that's put the laptop on your lap. But... You wouldn't... I would not have even clocked it if you hadn't mentioned it. Yeah. Well, we got the renovation happening in the exact center of the house. Oh, yes. And so I'm like, I'm in the only room where there might not be any noise. Okay, I'm ready.

[00:10:40] Okay. All right. So, number one must-see headliner. Who is getting top billing at this festival, in your opinion? You know it's Powerline, baby. Ain't nobody... Like, I... The way that I measure this is when I look at all the movies that they've been in and what stages. He has the most production. Yes. He has the... I feel like one of the bigger crowds.

[00:11:08] And he is based on Michael Jackson, Prince, Tevin Campbell, like all of the best. Yeah. Bobby Brown. He is the headliner. There's no doubt about it. What about you guys? So, I... So, now that I'm thinking about it with you, I'm like, power line would be the big draw. Like, if his name was at the top of the ticket, like, that's what people would come to see.

[00:11:36] So, but I don't know if I would, like, would I put power line as the headliner? I had him as closing the festival. So, I was like, nobody's gonna want to go after power line. Yes. Right. I feel like headliner and closing should have been the same, but we're suspending belief. So, sometimes, like, in a multi-day festival, like, it could be different. Yeah. Because I...

[00:12:04] The way I was thinking about it was I was like, so a lot of these, because of the nature of the way that we see these bands in a film, they kind of have, like, one song or one performance that's like, that's the thing, right? That's... There they are. And so, for all these, I'm like, I don't know if I would want to see... If I could see any of these bands for 40, 50, 60 minutes. Right. Because I don't know if they've got... I don't know if they've got that much. The one exception to me, though, was Stillwater. I was like, when we watch Almost Famous, like, Stillwater, like, every time they go on stage, they're performing a different song.

[00:12:34] They look like great musicians when they're performing. Like, Stillwater could put on an hour-long set. Yeah. And probably be really good. But I don't know. So, I'd like Stillwater or Powerline interchange them as headliner or closing the festival. So, I'm like, I think those are the two acts that are, like, they're legit. Like, they're... Which one is it, Nick? Ah! Wrap it up. All right. I put Stillwater is my headliner. All right. I have the winners.

[00:13:03] Jackie, delusion is the matter. No. Well, I'm also balancing it out with, like, the other categories. Other things. Yeah. All right. So, next one is Best Live Show. Who's going to put on the best concert? I was torn between these two. And... Hear me out. Okay. I said Protozoa. Okay.

[00:13:31] But now I'm thinking I'm going to switch it to Stillwater. Because I do think they would do a good live show. What did I have them for? Oh, but Protozoa would never be an opening act. I'm going to go with... I'm going to say Protozoa. The man has charisma. Now, the third movie, whoever that man is, I'm going to say that's a different universe. I'm going with Xenon 1 and 2.

[00:14:00] And that man and his outfits and his frosted tips own that stage. So, I'm going to say Protozoa. So, I'm going Stillwater for Best Live Show. Nick? All right. So, I was thinking production value on this one. And I thought, like, Powerline is a good choice. Because he's clearly got some crazy stage production value. But I put, similarly, because I had Powerline somewhere else. I went with School of Rock. Because I think they bring some production value.

[00:14:29] They got fog machines and lights and shit. Like, they would put some thought into the overall show. Good point. Good point. All right, Jake. Who is front row worthy? Who are you camping out to see? Cheetah Girls. We could not be more different on this. I went B-Rabbit from a mile. Let me just put it this way.

[00:14:57] Them girls have, like, 50-11 movies, right? And even though the Black community is trying to constantly trade Raven, Simone Yeh, ain't nobody taking them. I'm sorry. The fits alone. The fits alone. The songs. The songs. Catchy. All of them. Bop after bop after bop. And they got dance moves.

[00:15:27] I can't get over great singing, great dancing, great songs. Nobody else is doing it. I'm camping out. Nick, who are you camping out for? I had this one blank because I'm old and I don't go to the front. I don't go to the front for anybody. Nope. I'll hold down the fort in the back. Y'all have fun. Who would be the best opening act to get the crowd ready?

[00:15:55] Now, mind you, I know in the journey of Almost Famous that Stillwater was not an opener. But I think the way that they got so big is because they were so good from the jump. So I could see them being, like, really getting the audience pumped because they're playing live show after live show in every different venue you could imagine. They got the chops to get it started. So I say Stillwater. That's fair.

[00:16:24] I went School of Rock. Like, the kids need to perform early in the day. Like, it's going to be upbeat, peppy. Who doesn't like to watch children playing instruments that are actually decent at playing instruments? That's fair. Speaking of children playing instruments, I went with Pink Slip. Nice. Because that kind of similar is, like, they're not, like, you're not really going to remember them. But they're tight.

[00:16:50] Like, they're, you know, they're good band, high energy, you know, like, good look. They'll kind of, like, they'll get it started. They'll get it going. And then you'll forget all about them. Yeah. Good opening act. I don't know about that. Well, and then, like, in a couple of years, they'll be on the main stage. Yeah. Yeah. And then you could say, like, oh, I remember when I saw them back. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Who's closing the festival? Who gets that final performance last night of the festival? I think it's School of Rock.

[00:17:20] They got a lot of things going on. You know, you got the crazy ass teacher in the front doing whatever. You got all, like, there's so many different things. They had the smoke, the show that, like, I feel like they would really do a good job closing it out. That's fair. Yeah. I went Powerline. Like, let's do this. And this is why I was confused. Yeah. He's the one. I also went power line.

[00:17:50] Yeah. He's the one, like, everyone's coming for. We're going to hold him out to last. Everyone's going to stay to the end. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Who? Yeah. And nobody's going to want to go after power line, too. Right. He's shutting that thing down. Yeah. Small stage, big energy. Who steals the festival despite getting a tiny stage? I think it's Pink Slip. I think they, because they, I mean, quite honestly, look at how the internet is.

[00:18:20] They still remember those two damn songs because they were very catchy. Despite, like, you know, all the craziness that was happening. I think they're fun, engaging. They get a small stage. They're just starting and everybody's captured by it for sure. I went Soggy Bottom Boys. Like, I feel like because they're such a niche music genre, they would get a smaller stage. But then it would be, like, people just trickling in.

[00:18:49] Because they have showmanship. Their songs are catchy as fuck. Like, I think it would be a sleeper for sure. Yeah. I kind of had the same logic on this one of, like, who would actually benefit from a small room. But I think with the same logic, though, I went B-Rabbit. I think B-Rabbit would actually be better in a small, small stage, small room, small crowd. Like, intimate. Like, get people in tight. Get people packed in.

[00:19:16] Would actually make B-Rabbit a better performer than putting them on a big stage and, you know, kind of being far away from his people. Who are we skipping for the snacks? I'm skipping Soggy Bottom what? I'm out. I'm going to go get some snacks. I don't know what they got going on. But it's a genre thing for me, personally. I had to mentally separate this in the next category, which is bathroom break.

[00:19:45] By, like, if you're standing in line for snacks, you can still hear it. I just don't need to watch it. Oh, then I'm skipping. I'm changing that thought process. Then mine is du jour. Okay. Skipping for snacks. I'm in line. I can still hear them. I don't mind it. But I'm still going to get my snacks. Them boys on some other shit anyways. They're always fighting on stage. That's true. I don't even know if they're going to start on time. I'm going to go get some snacks. I went Pink Slip.

[00:20:15] I can listen to them. I don't really need to watch them. I can still enjoy their music while I'm getting my pretzel on. This is where I put, like, some of the bands I wasn't familiar with. I will follow it. I'll go get snacks with Danielle. Danielle and I. During du jour, we'll go get some snacks. Because I'm like, I don't know. Who's du jour? Like, oh, you're getting snacks? Cool. Me too. I don't care. I'm not familiar enough with du jour to care one way or the other. I'm following Danielle.

[00:20:44] So on the flip side, bathroom breaks, you're going into another facility. You're not going to be able to hear the set. Danielle, who are you going with? I'm going to the bathroom because my bottom is getting soggy so they can go play on the stage. Sorry, it's Cheetah Girls. Jackie. Danielle. Jackie, don't get jumped. I won't protect you because they will.

[00:21:10] We all have our things and the cheetahs girls just don't do it for me. That's wild. I don't even know if I'll put this on the internet because I'm not. I promise y'all she's not one of those like, I have a black friend kind of person. She just, she don't vibe with it. Please don't kill her. I just have a blind spot for the cheetah girls and I'm sorry. I didn't watch it as a. Watch it. That's it. Yeah.

[00:21:40] Nick. Oh, that's wild. I'll follow Jackie because I don't know the cheetah girls. Oh, God. Cut the tape. I don't even know the name cheetah girls is because of you too. Like you talk about it and I'm like, what the fuck are the cheetah girls? I have absolutely nothing. I got nothing. I understand because we're elder millennials and like it literally was on when we were out. We were. And Nick and I did not have, I mean, I had Johnny as a younger sibling.

[00:22:09] So I was the Pokemon route. I didn't go like later Disney DCOMs route. At least, you know, who Raven Simone is. Is that a Disney channel thing? It was a DCOM. Yeah. Yeah. So it was a DCOM that got three movies. We have to also remember the historical context of it, which is that it came out before High School Musical, The Descendants.

[00:22:38] All those movies would have never, I don't think, came about if that movie didn't do as well as it did. It was also a book series written by a Black woman and Whitney Houston produced it. So like there's a lot to those movies and, and it became so popular that the girls from the movies became an actual group.

[00:23:05] They were the cheetah girls after the, I think like the second movies and they made like a Christmas album. They made multiple albums toward everything. So it was, it was just because for us contextually that we, it was out of our peer view or a generation. They were everything. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So that it's like, it's explainable why I missed it, but it's not excusable.

[00:23:32] Like as a, as a, as a white boy who didn't have Disney channel, I was like, I have nothing. So it makes sense that, but also I shouldn't like, I gotta, maybe I need to fix this. I gotta go find some cheetah girls. I feel like maybe your girls might like it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Let's give it a go. Yeah. I'm in. Who is the secret surprise guest that would get the biggest reaction if they unexpectedly appeared?

[00:24:03] So I'll jump in first on this one because I read it wrong. Okay. I, I was thinking who's bringing a surprise guest on stage. Okay. And so, so I put soggy bottom boys here because being in kind of that folk Americana kind of genre, like you could bring in other musicians that are just like, they're just going to like lock in and just join the group and it's going to be like a hit. And to join us for our next song, Willie Nelson. And then exactly. Like.

[00:24:33] Going crazy there. Right. Like, you know, like pick a, you know, banjo mandolin player. Steve Martin. Exactly. Exactly. Bring Steve Martin on stage and he'll just slide right in and it'll be great. Yeah. So I was like soggy bottom boys could bring in any Americana folk musician and blow everybody's mind. Well, mine is B rabbit because I feel like the person he would join is maybe power line. I just feel like it would be a natural thing for them to.

[00:25:02] Yeah. Good idea. I went protozoa for this one. Just like showing up for like a song or two. And then. I could see him with power line as well. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely. Or the cheetah girls. That's true. I mean, DCOM's got to stick together. Yeah. That's. We need a, we need a third goofy movie now where they're going, they're going to stand the cheetah girls.

[00:25:30] I don't think that cheetah girls are as Max's style at all, but yeah. Maybe Roxanne is dragging him and he's, he's actually digging it. Yeah. Oh shit. What? I didn't know. Who would have the best festival sing along? I put the wonders. It's the wonders. Yeah. They have like that hit, everybody's singing it. Yeah, for sure. I put du jour because you can't tell me. And you're wrong. It's the wonders.

[00:26:01] But you can't tell me that the entire crowd is not going to be scream singing backdoor lover. All the, I don't know. I feel like the wonders would get everybody while backdoor lover might just be a bunch of fangirls. Yeah. And then lastly, I think we all are in agreement for this performing for the money who is past their prime solely there for the cash. Rex Manning. Rex Manning. Oh, Rexy. You're so sexy. 30 years ago. Yeah.

[00:26:33] Excellent job. Everyone. Oh boy. Okay. So question for everyone. What song from a Y2K movie activates you like a sleeper agent that you have to sing, groove along, and it's your jam? Is it, okay. Is it just like a regular song or is it like a song from like a fictional band? I'm going to go fictional band since we're doing.

[00:27:02] Oh, damn. Damn. Which is why my answer is not Scotty doesn't know. That's a fictional band. No, Luster is a real band. But did they write that song? Yes. Is that song on an album? I believe so. Or is it just on the soundtrack? Because yeah, my, the, the first one that came to my head was Anytime by Eve Six on the Out Cold soundtrack.

[00:27:31] Like that song. I don't. Yeah. I saw your picture. Immediately on the mountain. I didn't say that other thing. I was just going to say, but they're not a fictional band. I just said they're not a fictional band. They're not a fictional band. So. Yes. That's the song that. Yeah. That gets me. Scotty doesn't know appears on their 2006 studio album. Left for dead. No way. After the movie or before the movie. That's what I'm confused about. That was after. But.

[00:28:00] So I just feel like they made the song for the movie and then it was like, okay, we going to put it on the album. Yeah. I think it's, I think you could use it. Okay. Well, I have another answer. So. Oh, I don't know. Oh, well. Gosh, it's between power line and zoom, zoom, zoom. Make my heart go boom, boom. My supernova girl. I think that's it. I did a dance. So it definitely, that's it.

[00:28:29] Mine is eye to eye by power line. Okay. Like you hear those first notes and you're just like locked in. You're doing the eye to eye. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. I guess I got to go power line as well, but I would go stand out. I think stand out. It's the better song and it's got the, like the, the max. Oh yes, it is. And out is the better song.

[00:28:53] And that one is over the max, like heroically leaving school and skateboarding home montage. That's just like, I don't know. Yeah. I'm right there. Love it. Yeah. Okay. Well now we're putting Nick back in the hot seat. He's been here before with his. Can you believe that? I forgot to do this. I don't, I forgot. This was a part. Hang on. I'm going to, I'm going to walk over to my DVD shelf and just like. So you have a reference point.

[00:29:23] And I. Hmm. Hmm. I feel like I'm running out of movies because I've been on the show too many damn times. I did list out your movies and it is quite, quite an extensive list. It's quite, it's quite a list. All right. Here's. Oh man. Now I'm looking at my, the, the ones that I still have on my shelf and I'm like, Ooh, some of these are really good. Okay. Because I just saw him live. Sarah and I went down to the Hollywood bowl to see David Byrne perform live. So I'm going the talking heads stop making sense.

[00:29:54] That concert film is like kind of revolutionary. And that David Byrne put on a concert specifically with the intent purpose of this concert, this live musical performance was going to be a movie. And he kind of did a lot of visual things that were kind of innovative at the time in 1984. So it's so good. It's still so good. Talking heads, stop making sense. Check that one out. We will go. We'll go. I don't know. I'm on a, I'm on a, a romantic with my wife kind of thing.

[00:30:22] Like kissing Jessica Stein, not a great film. I like, I don't think it holds up. Really? I haven't watched it in forever. Yeah. But it was one, like on one of our first dates, we rented kissing Jessica Stein and watched it. And so that was kind of cute. At least for me. And then, cause I've been thinking about it lately. Is it on there yet? Is it on my list? It's not. We'll go with Garden State. Cause again, I don't give me that look, Danielle. But because I know, I know.

[00:30:52] I can't help that you feel, you fit an archetype at this point. Exactly. Like looking back at garden state now, I'm like that movie was made specifically for me. Like that. I was at the very center of the bullseye and they fucking nailed it. But the thing about garden state is what it's whatever of a movie, the soundtrack though, I still love the soundtrack. The soundtrack is very important to me. Producers were like, you know, got him, got him, got him.

[00:31:23] You know, 20 year old middle-class somewhat effeminate white man trying to be a good person and like, got him. All right. Excellent. Yeah. So don't, don't necessarily go watch the movie again, but keep listening to the shins and to, you know, all the other music on that soundtrack. Still love that. Excellent. Usually I'm like great choices, but I'm like, those are choices.

[00:31:56] I'm running out of choices here. It's fair. But you know what? Well, if you love this episode, you have hot takes about any of our choices. You know where to find us and no more late fees on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube threads, blue sky, all the things.
